PROTECT ME - Responsible tourism for the prevention of the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents (SEC)
We do not promote or permit the sexual exploitation of girls, boys and adolescents, or any other criminal offense of which we may become aware in the course of our activities, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 29408.
The framework of the legal provisions that penalize conduct related to SEC includes the following:
- Law No. 29408 “General Tourism Law” and its Regulations approved by Supreme Decree No. 3-2010-MINCETUR/SG.
- Law No. 30963 “Law modifying the penal code with regard to the penalties for the crime of sexual exploitation in its various forms, as well as related crimes, with special emphasis on the protection of girls, boys, adolescents and women”.
- Law No. 30802 “Law establishing the conditions for the entry of girls, boys and adolescents into lodging establishments, in order to guarantee their protection and wellbeing”.
